What a standard sunbed is

A standard sunbed does one job: colour. Rows of UV fluorescent tubes, a fixed power level, a timer. You set the minutes, you lie down, you tan. There is nothing wrong with it, and for a quick top-up it does the trick. It just has not really changed in twenty years.

What the megaSun K11 Air Select is

The K11 is the world’s first all-LED sunbed, and a rare full-LED bed. Instead of UV tubes it uses thousands of LEDs, and it does three things a standard bed cannot:

For a fast, cheap top-up before a night out, a standard bed from £7 does the job. If you want the best, most comfortable tan, with the option of red light in the same session, the K11 from £9 is in a different league. For a couple of pounds more you get a far better experience and a colour that is kinder to your skin.
