We're Beautano.
We built Beautano because the Southside deserved a tanning and beauty studio that actually feels good to be in. Spotless, modern, and home to the best kit in the city.
Why we exist
Sick of dated, dingy tanning shops?
So were we.
You know the type of tanning shop that hasn’t been touched since 2004. Harsh strip lighting, sticky floors, a laminated price list curling off the wall. We didn’t want to run one of those.
So we stripped it all back and built Beautano from scratch. Clean lines, premium kit, staff who actually know your name, and a space that feels as good as the colour you leave with.
No pretension, no hard sell. A studio on Nitshill Road that we’re proud to put our name above the door.

The megaSun K11 Air Select
The world’s first all-LED sunbed, and the only one in Glasgow. You get UV tanning plus a dedicated UV-free red light mode, climate control with cooling AirBreeze, and 3D sound. Nothing else in the city comes close.
Clean, every time, no exceptions
Every bed gets cleaned and sanitised after each session. No skipping it when we’re busy. The team is trained and always happy to walk you through your skin type, your minutes, and anything else you’re not sure about.
Over-18s only, fully supervised
We take this seriously. Every session is strictly over-18s and supervised in line with Scottish regulations. Prefer to skip the UV altogether? Our red light mode gives you a glow with no tanning rays at all.
Two sides, one roof
A sunbed studio and a full beauty salon.
Most places do one or the other. We do both, and we do both properly.
One side is the sunbed studio: the megaSun K11, our other premium beds, and a team who know their way around UV minutes and skin types. The other is a full beauty suite for hair, nails, lashes, brows and skin.
Grab a tan before your nail appointment. Get your lashes done and walk out glowing. We set it up this way so your whole routine happens under one roof, not across half of Glasgow.
